Genetic innovation and the circular economy
Our R&D program focuses on genetic improvement, agronomic trials, and pilot projects that increase crop productivity and resilience.
We work with oil-bearing materials from Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru, and we maintain international agreements to develop high-yield hybrid seeds.
45 hectares of oilseed crops from different origins for genetic evaluation.
50 hectares of OxG materials produced and 65 crosses with 3 replicates; 12 promising codes selected for seed production.
Agreement with Sampoerna Agro (Indonesia) for the production of superior hybrid seeds.
Palm growers
Partnerships with local palm growers
Energy & Palma articulates its chain with more than 70 allied palm growers in the cantons of San Lorenzo and Eloy Alfaro. We provide technical assistance, training in assisted pollination, harvesting criteria, phytosanitary control, and fertilization plans. We guarantee accurate weighing using certified scales and secure payments to strengthen the competitiveness and traceability of the fruit.
